Caylah Lawrence is a Washington State certified teacher who brings heart, humor, and a deep sense of purpose to the classroom. She started her career in education in 2017 as a one-on-one special education paraeducator, supporting a student from preschool through first grade. That experience sparked her passion for teaching, and she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Instructional Design.

She’s since taught a range of grades — from preschool to fourth — with full-time classroom experience in both first and third grade. Whether she's guiding early readers or helping students build confidence in math, she brings an energetic, student-centered approach to everything she does.

At the core of her teaching philosophy is the belief that strong relationships make everything possible. She’s known for creating a classroom environment that feels like a second home — one where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. Social-emotional growth is just as important to her as academics, and she’s especially passionate about helping students feel proud of who they are and how far they’ve come.

Outside the classroom, she loves spending time with her daughter Willow, her husband, and their dog — especially out on a hiking trail or anywhere surrounded by nature. She’s thrilled to be part of the Wyldwood Prep community and can’t wait to cheer her students on as they grow, learn, and light up with curiosity.
