What are the parent expectations in this Co-Op?

As a co-op, Wyldwood Prep thrives when every family takes part. To help our program start strong and grow sustainably, we ask each family to commit to the following:

1. Family Check-Ins

  • Join bi-weekly virtual family check-ins to share updates, give feedback, and stay connected as a co-op.

  • Once the program is more established, these meetings will shift to monthly check-ins.

2. Daily Presence During Transition

  • For the first month, a parent/guardian will be present with their child during program hours.

  • This daily presence helps establish routines, supports regulation, and ensures children feel safe and confident as they settle into the new program structure.

3. Future Committee Roles

  • As the program grows, the parent committee will develop structured roles (such as facilitator, volunteer coordinator, events lead, etc.).

  • Responsibilities will be shared across families in a way that balances workload and fits each family’s strengths and availability.

A Note on Flexibility
We understand that every family is juggling different schedules, needs, and capacities. These expectations are meant to provide structure and consistency, but there is always room for flexibility. Our goal is to find ways for each family to contribute that feel manageable, supportive, and sustainable. If challenges come up, we’ll work together to adjust — because at its heart, this co-op is about community and care.

We are thrilled to start this journey together and appreciate your involvement in making Wyldwood Prep a warm, supportive, and thriving co-op.
